Critical Reflection of the module

Module Learning Before attending this module, I had always perceived that a language module would be lame and boring as thinking I have to write essays and do reports makes me hate it so much. However, after attending Professor Blackstone's class, I enjoyed my time in the class as I discovered that there is more to this module. For example, through these few months of attending the class, I found out that there are not only writing and writing but there are also oral communication skills out there for us to practise our vocal skills and communication skills which I find very important to real-world context. On a daily basis, one needs to communicate with one another, without the proper skill set of communication and presentation skills which I have learned, it will be hard in the future.  Dear professor black stone,  I hope to achieve excellent in-class participation. I frequently ask questions and am not afraid to speak up when the time is needed for me to do so. I have always shown a keen interest in learning and wanting to improve myself. I feel that end of my course I have achieved what I want to learn in the module such as how to write a formal letter to someone, report writing having the proper citing from the source, and confidence in speaking in front of a crowd.

Contribution on the project (smartcart)

 In the group project, I have researched -Background on giant hypermarket supermarket (when they started the company, how many outlets they have in Singapore). -Finding out how to have a better shopping experience in the supermarket. For example can easily check out the items they want to purchase, are less crowded and compact for shoppers to move around in the supermarket, and can find the items they want to purchase by having available stock. - Problems that shoppers have faced in the supermarket. For example long waiting times to check out the items, unable to quickly locate the items that there are finding, hard-to-find shopping carts around the supermarket. -The different kinds of carts that exist in the market have helped shoppers with a better shopping experience
